Histology And Cytology
Manual Stainers—Shur/Stain™
Select the appropriate size staining well (38.5 or 250)ml and the number of individual staining positions necessary to meet your histology, cytology, dermatology, immunohistochemical, hematology, microbiology or special staining application. The 38.5ml size is available in 6,12 & 24 well configurations for lower volume applications and a larger 250ml staining dish version is produced in 3,6, & 12 well configurations.
Well depths are designed for immersion of 1"x3" slides. Metal extruded frames inter-lock for back-to-back connection of multiple racks. Plastic dishes are solvent resistant and include lids for limiting evaporation when not in frequent use. The SS-3L & SS-6S models have a removable plastic lid that covers the entire staining assembly.
All the other sizes have plastic sliding see-through covers for convenient access from either end. Having sliding see-through covers significantly reduces solvent evaporation without having to remove & replace individual well lids between
